Joji is an Argentinian designer and her patterns are ingenious. You can purchase her patterns on Ravelry. My personal favourite is the Madewell cardigan. Joji’s use of colour never fails. I used the same colours in my Madewell cardigan, a nod to the genius of Joji. My advice is to check out her patterns on Ravelry.
With my love of anything with cables, this lady sure knows her stuff. Her designs are such a treat to knit. I purchased Norah's book Knitted Cable Sourcebook which has loads of tips and advice about how to craft cable designs in your handmade knitting project. There is also an array of patterns included in the book, one of which is the Batwing Sweater that is currently on my needles.
Purl Soho has a fantastic array of free knitting patterns. From scarves to blankets and sweaters. Their website is also a great resource for advice on learning new techniques. I have recently finished two cowls using their Floats Cowl pattern. See both of my finished cowls on the link below.
Jared's designs, particularly men's patterns are just stunning. There is something about the structured lines or use of texture that you can always spot as being a Jared Flood pattern. Currently on my needles is the Mélange Scarf. Who knew garter stitch would be so much fun! A great beginner knit too.
Jennifer‘s designs are timeless, beautiful and eyecatching. Her patterns are really well written with lots of notes and advice. She has such an amazing eye for colour combinations and she always tucks a few different options away in her patterns so you can truely make something your own. I recently used the pattern from Goldwing on a child‘s sweater. You can see how I incorporated it here.
Absolutely scrumptious. For some reason at the moment all the patterns on Ravelry that I have been saving to my favourites are from Meiju. Beautiful cables and detailed patterns. Have a peek at my Ancaster sweater dress, I did go a bit rogue but that’s what yarn and knitting is all about - using your creativity.
